Fortnite Sky Platform locations - where to find all seven Sky Platforms

The future of Fortnite and it's ninth season includes a bunch of Sky Platforms that have appeared throughout the map. They're all rather central, but easy to spot and even visible from the map. If you were wondering what those icons were, where the Sky Platforms are, and how to get up there, we're here to help.

With the game being the global sensation that it is, there's a lot to learn about not only getting that all-important "Victory Royale", but also the changes to the map as the seasons progress, and the challenges you can seek to complete. Head over to our Fortnite guide hub for every single thing you need to get started. Alternatively, you can head back to our Fortnite week 6 challenges guide for an overview of all the weekly challenges for this Season in Fortnite.

Fortnite Sky Platform locations guide

This guide shows you the locations of all seven of the Sky Platforms, as well as detailed information about each individual location and how to get up to the Sky Platform from ground level.

Sky Platform locations

Above is the map showing the locations of all the Sky Platforms. In each circle, there is a shape with four tiny circles, one on each corner. This is not some Photoshop tricky, but something you can see if you look at the map for yourself. You also don't need to visit them in any order, but I would recommend checking off each platform you have visited as you progress, so that you don't accidentally visit the same one twice.

As for how to get up to the platforms, there are some vortex generators on each of the four corners of the platform. Jump in and hold forward while looking skyward to ascend through the pipe. You can go in both directions while in a vortex, so use that to your advantage if someone's shooting at you.

Sky Platform close to Pleasant Park.

Pleasant Park Sky Platform

This one is towards the mountains south-west of Pleasant Park. It can be a little tricky to spot as its nestled between the two mountains, but look closely and you should be able to spot it. It's the device with four slipstream portals, one on each corner. Simply go into one and ride it up to tick this one off your list.

Sky Platform close to Lazy Lagoon.

Lazy Lagoon Sky Platform

Just towards the south-western tip of Lazy Lagoon, you'll find a Sky Platform just floating there. Head up the slipstream or land on it from a Battle Bus jump to reach it.

Sky Platform outside of Pressure Plant

Pressure Plant Sky Platform

A new area introduced in the wake of the volcano's eruption, Pressure Plant has a Sky Platform to the south of where the word "Plant" is on the mini-map. You should have no problem getting up here and it actually makes a great vantage point, provided your settings are configured to have maximum draw distance. Take a look at our Fortnite settings and controls guide for more information on those settings.

Sky Platform close to Salty Springs and Dusty Divot

Dusty Divot Sky Platform

This platform is sort of sandwiched between Salty Springs and Dusty Divot, but in any case, head towards the west of each location and you should be able to spot the Sky Platform. It's close to the mountains in which a lot of the Team Rumble LTMs games end up, so the terrain should be familiar.

Sky Platform near Shifty Shafts in the distance.

Shifty Shafts Sky Platform

This is the one that you're probably not going to see immediately, but if you look closely on the map, towards the south-west of Shifty Shafts and just before Polar Peak, you'll see the four circles. It's just to the east of the frozen lake and you can get up here the same way as the rest of them. Just be wary of snipers at Polar Peak.

Sky Platform close to Fatal Fields.

Fatal Fields Sky Platform

This one is out in the open and shouldn't be too difficult to spot. Head to the north-west of Fatal Fields to get up to this one. Access it like all the others.

Sky Platform close to Paradise Palms

Paradise Palms Sky Platform

Finally there is one close to Paradise Palms. Head to the north-west of the location, close to where the desert biome ends. You should be able to see this one quite clearly as it's pretty much lit up like a beacon on the mini-map.

This concludes our Sky Platform locations guide for Season 9 of Fortnite. There are plenty more challenges to complete. You can find out more about the other challenge, which asks you to do a lap of the two new futuristic towns in our Fortnite Ride The Slipstreams guide.
